Leave me, I want to dance…

Geet was struggling continuously in his arms, as Kunal carried her upstairs to her room. He simply ignored her pleads, pushing open the door of room.

You are bad… really bad, she hit his chest drowsily while he rolled his eyes…putting her slowly on the bed, he noticed her drenching whole, and thought for a while about what should he do about her wet cloths.

Downstairs, party was wrapped up soon, Maan was getting difficult to handle by family. He kept chatting Geet’s name surprising everyone but everyone shrugged it off thinking it’s bhang effect and he got habitual of his bhabhi in those few days of her stay at KM.

Maan, let’s go to your room..Sam held him, you can’t walk even properly..

Dadi watching her silently, something cooking in her mind seeing how she is handling her grandson.

After few attempts finally Rajveer and Sam managed to take him to his room.

I won’t leave that Kunal… He took her away…he spoke in drowsy effect cursing Kunal while everyone rolled their eyes.

After thinking about twenty minutes, he came to the decision, no I can’t leave her in those wet cloths, she would fall sick, Dadi Ko bhi nahi bula sakta.. he called Riya but her reply was “mein toh kabki nikal chuki waha se, jij”

He took a long breath before approaching her. I am sorry Jaan..but I have to do this, he cupped her cheek, she was laying in drowsy effect, looking at him with her half open eyes.

He closed the lights and she jerked up feeling scare, hugging him tight, he opened the knot of her blouse, removing it with his eyes closed, his heart pained hearing her cries, she was shivering because of fear of darkness.

He somehow managed to removed her cloths and made her wear her nighty.

Switching on the lights he saw her sleeping peacefully, he pecked her head and got up to freshen up.

It was evening, when Geet slowly opened her eyes, feeling dizzy, her head was so heavy, she got up with taking support of wall,

Jaan.. Kunal rushed in holding her arm, and she leaned on him completely, humara sar bahot Bhari lag raha hai, Kunal.. don’t know what happened to me..

First sit back here, he pushed her on the bed, hilna nahi, okay ?

She nodded, still holding her head, trying to remember what last happened at the holi party,

After a while Nakul walked in with lemon water glass for her, which Kunal made her drink.

Now you feel better? He patted her head.

She nodded, without a word and rested back on the pillow with close eyes.

Once Nakul exited the room Kunal began, now tell me how did you drink that bhang?

To this Geet snapped open her eyes , what?? Hume nahi pata.

Kunal frowned and waited for her to speak something, seeing her lost in thoughts.

I just went to drink water and then..she looked up Sasha made me taste it.

And you drank whole, he completed with chuckle.

Geet pouted, turning her face away.

Geet shook her head in no, scared to hear something unpleasant as for now she didn’t remember anything after she drank the glass.

Kunals words left in mid as geet almost jump on him, what did we do..she was getting damn scare now, “Kahi inhe pata toh nahi chala humare bare mein.”

She was blank and then seeing his smile she really turned angry, you.. she hit his shoulder, I hate you..hate you..hate you..she blabbered still hitting on him.

He pulled her in a hug with smile, don’t say that again Jaan, Suna hai ki baar baar ek hi baat kahne se woh sach ho jati hai..

She stopped her moment and kept her face hidden in his chest, but his next set of words jolted her back to reality.

And why was you being so tense, Kahi sach mein Tum muzse kuch chupa toh nahi Rahi ho.?

Aap . ..she have no words to explain him now but seeing his smile she was frustrated, here I am not feeling well, and you are making fun of me one after another?? Tears flew from her eyes setting her cheeks now making him worried.

Jaan..I am sorry, he wiped her tears but she jerked off his hand and got up to walked into washroom but suddenly something struck her, as her gaze went to her cloths, yeh gown..

She turned back facing him now, who did change my cloths, her voice quivered, she was fearing to hear the answer, praying it’s not the one whom she is thinking.

Kunal lower his gaze , fearing for her reaction.

Kunal.answer me.. she pleaded.

And she almost stumbled on her feet, aap ne..

But believe me Geet, I had closed the lights, and there was no other option..beemar pad jati tum..Maine kuch nahi dekha, just change your cloths.

But Geet wasn’t in her senses anymore, she rushed into washroom closing the door behind.

Kunal was worried for her now, he comb his hairs back in tension.

Geet was horrified with the thought of him changing her cloths, he touched her, and that was horrified, although he is her husband, she hasn’t accepted him nor this marriage, then how can he..

But it was only his care for her, her mind answered.

Still she didn’t approved what he did making on the right of her husband.

She closed her eyes trying to remember what happened after she drank that liquid but there was no memories, why..why did she drank that bhang.. if not then that wouldn’t have happened. She couldn’t trust his words that he didn’t saw anything, afterwards he is a man.

Yes, they didn’t yet consummated their marriage but now feared it will not take more time for him to take that step.

Tears flew from her eyes, she splashed water on her face,crying her eyes out, she stopped when she was tired.

Outside Kunal who has been waiting desperately for his beloved wife, suddenly heard the sound of door opening, he instantly rushed to her, Geet are you okay??

She looked up into his eyes, first time ever concentrating there, she found nothing wrong there instead only pure love and care for her, making her again guilty for her wrong thoughts about him.

She shook her head walking towards cupboard to fetch her cloths, before again rushing to washroom to take shower.

Downstairs everyone was already present at the dinner table, when both Geet and Kunal walked down.

Maan who has been sitting silently till now looked up to see her descending down with Kunal, her face looked dull, eyes swollen like has been crying out for long.

Geet beta, aap thik toh hai..dadi’s sudden question pulled him back to reality.

He looked at her as she nodded softly and took her seat before murmuring softly, I am sorry Dadima for the mishap in the party, Kunal just told me what I..and.. she stopped looking at Maan then suddenly averted her gaze, I did.

Dadima smiled, it’s okay beta, sach kahe toh humne kafi enjoy kiya aapka aur Maan ka dance,

Geet was embarrassed now, she gave him one nervous glance before looking down again.

Dadima plz..no more discussion on this..

Maan said out loud and clear already frustrated with their teasing from the time he woke up in the evening. He was mostly worried for her, and now seeing her like that his worry increased.

Rajveer looked at his son hearing him, and his gaze which was on geet, he was lost in deep thought, Geet beta, are you fine?? Aap sach mein thik hai ab.. don’t be hesitate dear, tell me, aapki tabiyat thik hai?? He asked concerned seeing her face.

Geet felt like crying out loudly and screamed , but she gulped down the tears before answering him softly, ji sir, hum bilkul thik hai..

Rajveer sighed seeing her coming back to sir again from dad but he didn’t say a word..

Alright, then have your dinner fully, no playing with food he warned her , and then go back to your room, take full rest,

Her heart melted, there was so wild desire to just crushed him in a hug, he was like her father, and she badly wished today just on hug from her father but she knew she hasn’t have that right.

In all this one person was damn frustrated and that was Maan, he wanted to talk to her, sooth her pain , wanted to know what’s bothering her that much that her eyes bore deep pain.

After dinner, everyone disperse to to their room for a night. Kunal rushed up to their room to attend his official call while Geet went to kitchen to fetch a glass of water.

Maan sneak into behind her, making her gasp in horror, aap..!?

She struggled, chodiye hume…koi dekh lega..she was scared as Kunal was also there today.

He didn’t budge instead,jerked her more closer, I won’t leave you until you answer me, his lips moistening hers, as he began the kiss,the kiss was having soothing effect on her with its softness, she snuggle close in his arms, hugging him never to let go.

If you are worried for the happening in the party, then stop worrying about that, we did only dance nothing wrong in that..he cupped her face.

Sab kuch galat hua hai, na hum bhang pite , nor I would have got drench, nor would he had changed my cloths..she spills out breaking into tears shocking Maan.

What are you saying, kya hua hai Jaan? He asked her worriedly seeing her crying and blabbering.

Geet narrated him about Kunal changing her cloths and his face expressions changed into rigid again.

Mana ke woh humare pati hai, aur unhe pura haq hai, par humne unhe woh haq abhi tak nahi diya. She was blabbering to him not knowing what effect her words giving to him. He kept gaping her, somewhere her words hurting him, making him angry as well as happy.

And he have excuse of saying, I would have fallen sick, toh kya hua mar jaane diya hota Hume but ..
