Aap ki Kasam Chapter 42

Maan sat beside her, watching her innocent & beautiful face silently. He remembered doctors words after he had checked her. 

It’s because of dyhydration. She hasn’t had anything from last night. 

He thought about last night and remembered their argument. Why he is even arguing with her all the time. He was never like this before. Not before Geet walked in his life. 

He composed himself, seeing her moving eyes and she woke up after a moment.

She tried to get up abruptly, when his strong hands hold her in a place.

Don’t…” You are not okay, so stay back and rest. ” He told her in soft voice. 

Her eye sight was clear after a moment and she looked at him. The person who sat before her eyes now was not the one who argued with her sometime before. 

He looked so concerned right now. Automatically sweet smile came on her lips seeing his worried face.

You look so worried, don’t worry, i am fine. She assured her innocently, words just came out from her mouth.

But that made him conscious and instantly he put on hard face before getting up abruptly. He stopped in his track feeling tug at his hand.

She was still holding his hand and giving him pouting looks. He cleared his throat and turned to look at his father who was also present in the room. After getting the news of Geet’s fainting in maans cabin, he had quickly rushed to maans cabin. Without wasting a moment he had called doctor unlike Maan who was lost state of mind after seeing her fainted.

Geet followed his gaze and quickly pulled her hand back looking down. She couldn’t meet eyes with her father in law. Still somewhere scared with his stern aura.

Geet beta, how are you feeling now? He walked near patting her head. 

She shook her head before hearing his next set of questions.

Why didn’t you had anything from last night. Atleast you should have had something in the morning before coming down  to the office empty stomach. He scold her in gentle manner. 

I brought lunch for you both but after coming here….she stopped then looking at Maan who turned his face away , feeling guilty and ashamed somewhere for his nonsense behavior with her that might hypered her condition.

After coming here what, definitely had lost in Maan… Rajveer chuckled, what should I call your love. You both are crazy but you should not forget your own self, take care dear. ” He affectionate patted her head before getting up. 

Take care of her, he ordered Maan standing before him. I have a lunch meeting, he looked at his watch, already getting late. You both have lunch, he patted his shoulder, giving Geet one look as if saying follow his orders, he walked out leaving both hubby and wife alone to sort out their problem.

Maan was lost in the words of his father. LOVE..

Is that really existed in between both? He questioned himself. Although she claims to love him always. Par uski baaton mein kitni sachahyi hai, he never knew. 

He sighed, pushing all thoughts away he walked up to her. 

Geet looked on curiously as he pulled out the lunch box she had brought for three of them.

She twisted her lips realizing it’s all his fault. He always misunderstood me and argue and put all blame on me. She was talking to Herself and Maan was listening her.

Done!!? He called out taking her attention, now let’s have the lunch. I have to attend meeting after this. 

Then go and do your meetings why are you even bothering to feed me.” She snapped in anger.

That’s it. He got up abruptly in rage making her startled and was ready to walk out.

Maan…she gasped, as she had not expected him to react to her comment like that.

Plz stop! I am sorry! She blurted out immediately stopping him in his steps.

He closed his eyes, reminding himself again that she has not been well, so he need to control his anger.

He silently turned around and sat before her, making her plate he offered her, eat! I am not going to feed you! He reminded her own words.

She makes faces, saddu kahi ka..” she mumbled to herself snatching the plate out of his hand.

Maan sighed and made his own plate before getting up. “Where are you going?” His words halted his moment.

You can sit here and eat with me, I don’t mind. We have enough place. She blabbered patting the place near her on the couch.

He still didn’t move, plz..she again pleaded. Even herself didn’t know why she is doing so much pleading to him after his rudeness. 

But her heart simply couldn’t see him in trouble or upset…she smiled sweetly after he made himself comfortable near her. 

She was all the while just staring him while eating. He felt her gaze and looked at her, seeing her lost…he raised his brow asking what..! 

She nodded her head, giving silly smile while her heart beating loudly…she feared he might hear her loud heartbeats. 

Lost in her thoughts, she gulped the morsels hurriedly and broke into coughs.

He instantly out his plate aside, getting up to hand her glass of water. He put the glass to her mouth, since she began coughing badly.

Aaram se Geet…dhyan kaha tha tumhara…” He scolds her rubbing her back. 

After a while she calmed down and looked at him. She was again lost in his care….she kept looking at him.

Are you okay, now!?” He asked her gently pulling her out of her lost state.

Hmm..” she nodded and he left her.

Both finished the remaining lunch in silent, stealing each other gazes.he was checking on her out of concern while she looked at him out of love.

….

Oh god!! I am so happy today! He was worried for me. He was so concerned about me. How much he take care of me! She screamed in joy…jumping up and down her bed in happiness.

Oh god!! I am ready to fall ill again and again, i am ready to pretend to fall ill if he will be near me all the time , taking care of me….showing his soft side.

She stopped like a statue, seeing him there before her eyes. Trying to realize the difference between dream & reality.

He has walked in his room in the early hours of evening, as his meetings scheduled for the day has been finished early.

But hearing her words he made a disgusting face, “so you were pretending all this. I knew it. He forced the word out of his mouth leaving her badly hurt now.

You were pretending all this time just to seek my attention and i again became fool to get trap in your pretense. So that doctor was also planned by you!? He kept on blaming her without giving her chance to explain.

Suddenly, Geet has had enough that she just rushed to him giving tight slap across his cheek. 

You are fool! She screamed. Yes you are big fool to assume everything and put blame on me. 

You!? How dare you!? He held his cheek with one hand glaring her down furiously.

How dare you, she poked his chest in anger, jerking him back angrily. How dare you to accuse me always…hu ..!? 

She burst in to tears suddenly, why are you making me hate you suddenly…you are making me fall out of the love I have for you. why!? She sobbed clutching his collars. 

You never love me to claim that you are falling out of love now…” He scoffed and rushed out angrily leaving her broken.

Unknown to two of them madhu witness the whole thing, standing at the door. She couldn’t see her daughter shedding tears or their fight.

She took step to go and console her daughter. But then she took her raise step back and rushed away from there.

Her daughter need to be mature herself…console herself and get up strong to hold her marriage intact. She won’t have her mother or anyone apart from her husband at her side, all the time.

Next day, Maan flew out of the country for one of business meetings. In real, he wanted to stay away from her and emotional turmoil that followed her thoughts. From the time she stepped in his life, he has been in roller coaster ride. 

He need time away from his crazy wife and need to clear his mind about his marriage. It can’t go on like this….

Thinking about marriage, dadi maa’ s face came to his mind. He remembered his promised to the old lady. Now he couldn’t run away from it, instead he had to face it. 

He closed his eyes and thought about his marriage, his crazy wife…

Everything is false…i don’t know what to trust or should I even trust her…her proclaim of love.

If she loved me really then why she needs to pretend or do some skiming to get his love. He was already her husband.

He remembered about the day, she had fainted in his arm in KC. She looked really ill… didn’t seem to be pretending.

Then her shouting in happiness in km came to his mind. It was only out of happiness, she really doesn’t mean it. Now as he thought about with his calm mind…things were getting clear to him.

He pulled out his cell and started the recorder which have her conversation with her friends at the evening of their party.

(For some readers who missed the conversation part, I didn’t know how here i am putting it whole)

So those goons were there to chase you as per our plan. 

Yes, goons were there after me but you know what he saved me in time. 

So everything goes according to our plan, ha Geet? 

So Hows married life going, jiju pat gaye ya nahi.

Arey aise kaise, bhul gayi woh gundo wala funda. It was our plan to bring fake goons there at the mall before your KC.

Yeah, but they were real and you even know how bravely he fought for me and saved me.

Yeah…yeah we know your hero par sach mein Geet we plan so many things to bring that akdu to your toes and what did you do for us.

Oh hello, friends don’t ask anything in return. And I didn’t even agreed to your plans on the first place. Mujhe yeh sab pasand nahi hai.

He heard it again and again, trying to find some Loop hole to satisfy his heart. Because he knew he was falling in love with his crazy wife irrecoverably, that he couldn’t seems to find a way out of this.

He now want to believe on her false claims of love. He wants to believe on her innocence not for her but for his own heart who has already started falling for his wife.

I need to talk to her, yes. That only will.sort this issue out. I can’t live like this…he got up suddenly and fetch his phone.

He dialed her number in speed only to get rejected as she didn’t answer the phone. After few rings it came switched off. 

He fumed , because Maan Singh khurana hardly have any patience…and now he was losing it. How dare she switch off her cell in his face. His anger raising again and he threw his phone away in frustration. 

Now only one peaceful talk with her will solve his misery…he thought and went to freshen up.

Later he got busy in finishing his work at new site, then meetings….after few days he was ready to go back to his home….his wife.

As he stepped in his mansion, his feet halted facing the deadly silence in otherwise buzzing mansion. 

His heart skipped a beat thinking about all sort of bad things. He immediately rushed inside to spot nakul walking out of kitchen.

Wheres everyone, nakul?!” 

Maan baba, aap wapas aa gye!? Sab log toh hospital Gaye huye hai.

Hospital why? He was shocked to get such information.

Woh Geet bitiya….

He felt out of breath hearing her name, kya hua Geet ko.” He was already rushing away.”which hospital!?”

**** Hospital, but Maan baba listen, it’s not Geet bitiya….

But he was already running out of the KM without listening to him.

Only thought of something bad happening to his crazy wife left him breathless. He felt his life is going away from him….

I know everyone are losing patience over maan’s character here.he is always on his blame game mission. but what he would do, aadat se majbur..things came before his eyes like this or he heard something . His fault is only that he assumed everything on the basis of this without trying to find out the truth.

But now you see in this update, he had tried to find out the real truth behind his own accusation to her.

Also he had get most deserve slap from his innocent wifey, making readers hearts satisfy, I guess….

Now most demanding confrontation will come in next or next update.
