Karan walked inside with stern look on his face, looking at broken doll standing before him, confused with his sudden arrival.

He had heard and saw everything and was laughing inside seeing the madness of the girl.

She wiped her tears and quickly hides the knife inside her sari pallu.

I had seen it, Geet, then why hide and seek now??

Geet gasp with open mouth she gaped at him as he come closed to her.

You know Karan, I love him, I love Maan!! She tried to convince him.

That so called Bodyguard!!

KARAN!!

No, Baby.. don’t shout…or your mother will be worried for you downstairs!! He whispered huskily coming really closed to her from behind, his body length stick to her own giving Geet shivers in her whole body, she disgusted tried to moved away from him but he pulled her closed wrapping his hands on her stomach.

Leave me…what are you doing??

She glared at him turning her face sideways to look at him, but soon turn her face away feeling his breaths blowing on her face.

She tried to wriggled out getting his ill intentions now, don’t babe..you are mine now. He whispered, in her ears, Geet pierce her nails hard in his hands making him loose his grip on her, in all that the knife in her hands fallen down taking both if their attention.

So you wanted to die before I would claims you, ha..Geet?? He smirks devilishly,

So you know all about , before only, then why did you pretend, Geet hissed furiously for she was really enrage to think about it.

Geet gasp, giving him disgusting look, as he caught hold of her wrist again pulling her closer, it’s your so called love?? She tried to wriggle out again but he was strong like iron.

Yes..whatever you call it ..he whispered huskily, trailing the path from her cheek to her lips with his nose, taking her scent.

It’s because of you , I am today , in this situation, away from my Maan, Geet spitted furiously, coming out of his grip, he could only smirk seeing her helplessness as he walked towards where the knife was lying on the floor, he took it in his hand eyeing it devilishly,

He raise his eyebrows, taking steps towards her, slow like a true predator.

Geet looked at him confused but next moment shivers in terror as trails down the path of her bare arms with the knife point, he holds her same hand in his palm where the knife was now poking into her soft skin.

Geet was clueless before lost in his devilish act, but feeling some pain looked at her hand to see him poking the knife in her wrist, Geet gasp, with the pain rushing through her veins just seeing his cruel act, she looked at his face, to see him giving her dangerous looks.

No…No…she mutters, with free tears rolling down her cheeks.

Yes babe..this is what you want, isn’t you?? So I will help you do it, since you were so scared to do it by yourself.

And next moment, Before Geet knew, He cuts her wrist, making Geet screams in pain, and she stumbled on her steps feeling dizzy, she holds on to him for support, she looked at his face to see that dirty smirk on his face,

You..bastard…she mutter furiously , Geet looked at her mehendi now soaking in her own blood, M A A N , and she blanks out, seeing her own blood rushing out furiously.

Maya at once rushed upstairs, hearing  Karan’s scream, she guess.

The sight before her eyes left her shudder, she stumbled on her place, not believing the view before her eyes.

She had couldn’t thought from all things, her daughter could took such a step.

Aunty, look..what she did..I tried to stop her..save her..but it was too late, she was ready to killed herself, even warned me as well to kill if I took one step forward.

Maya listen to him but she was looking at her daughter’s unconscious state only, who was right now in Karan’s arms laying without any soul left as if.

He threw his phone furiously, he was frustrated, hurt.. confused.that is what he was fearing for, how could she thinks to do like that to him?? How dare she thinks to take her life, it belongs to him now.

He had already ordered his men to keep an eye on the Handa Mansion, his few men were even inside, present at the program.but they couldn’t peek into her room though, Maan knew his baby doll well enough to keep this security for her silently without anyone knows, even Maya was unaware.

Maan rushed out taking his car keys only to come face to face with his dad.

Dad, plz don’t stop me today!!

His eyes were moisten, frustrated, pleading his dad.

You have promised me, son!! His dad said sternly with straight face , no emotions, not known of the gravity of the situation.

Yes, I have promised you but I have made promised to her also even before I made it to you and I had already broken it pushing her life into danger.

He blasted on his dad trying to make him understand.

His dad looks at him confused hearing his words.

She is struggling with her life right now, dad, even you will regret later on, if I am not able to saved her, so plz don’t stop me today, saying so Maan rushed out to saved his Love leaving his dad puzzles but he could able to relate to his words.

Saved my child, God!! He only prayed silently feeling proud of his son today.

While hospital was in rush, running on the toe as per Maya’s order, she was furious, like a injured lion to see her only daughter in that state, she blame Maan for this condition of her daughter’s.

Geet was taken inside OT soon and Maya was left to think outside about the sudden reason for her suicide attempt.

She couldn’t believe her strong daughter could take such a step, she knew her daughter and believe her upbringing. Geet wouldn’t have taken such a step within someone could pushed her to that extent.

And she was all ready for this marriage until today, then what happened suddenly makes her that much week.

She quickly asked her staff to fetch the list of numbers in her phone, her contact list to whom she had talked with last time before she tried for suicide.

There was no suspects in that, not even Maan’s number, she saw it was only Geet didn’t tried to call, also there was no receiving call from other side, not there was any records in her phone about there conversation.

She sighs in frustration, just after sometime OT door open and doctor comes out giving her news,

She is fine now, needs here under observation for 24 hours, she will be conscious soon, then we can say about her condition in more detail.

Maya thank the doctor and asked to see her,

You can , once we shift her to the private ward.

Adi and niks rushed inside, they saw Karan was there with Maya talking with the doctor.

Adi didn’t know how to behave with his friend anymore, he didn’t even consider him his friend now, it was only because of Geet they were bound together in that friendship but today he don’t even want to see his face, he felt frustrated.

Aunty, how is she?? And how this happened?? He asked walking near Maya.

Maya told him what she saw and heard her screams, Aditya at once became enrage, he blasted on Karan.

Why did you went in her room, he hold his collars, totally in rage, it’s because of you, she must have taken that step,

And Maya gasps with this new info, she looked at both the boys not sure what to believe,

What are you saying, Aditya?? Maya asked unsure, her mother heart was scared and pained for her daughter.

Obviously aunty, Geet doesn’t liked him, she only loves Maan..

But Maya didn’t let him complete hearing that bodyguard’s name.

But because of Karan we are able to bring Geet here on right time or we don’t know what might have happened with her.

Adi looks at her confused, not believing this .

Yes, adi, believe me, I really tried to stop her but she was so aggressive, she even tried to attack me, she as if turn crazy… he clearly lied.

Don’t call my friend crazy!!

Adi warned him ,

Maya had enough of their fight, she just stop him.

Just then doctor inform them about the patient being shifted to the private ward and all rushed to see her.

Maya watched her daughter painfully, she couldn’t see her in this condition, Geet was lying unconscious still, looking pale with huge blood loss.

Her friends had already visited her and gone leaving Maya with her daughter alone.

Maya took her hand in her own carefully not hurting her, and peck it lovingly, few tears spill out of her eyes on her palms.

I am sorry, dear. Just can asked forgiveness from you for I couldn’t become nice mother. But It is only my helplessness Geet and the way to protect you.

But why did you pushed yourself in danger when I am trying to protect you.

Why did you , for that Boy..that mere Bodyguard…she hiss angrily.. Is that so called love is so weak to bring you in this condition, tell me Geet.

Geet twitch in her unconscious state as if hearing her words, no one can raise a finger on her love for Maan, or his for her. No one have that right.

Maya saw it and at once called the doctor, doctor check, her once and assured Maya that Geet would come to conscious soon, in an hour or so.

Maya left a sigh of relief and got up to go for she have some work at hand now.

Maan watched her slowly opening her eyes, he stood still without moving waiting for her to gain her conscious fully, he was damn worried, scared for her, just waiting for her to call him, scream at him, shouts on him, bash him but do speak one word at least to him. he was dying to hear her voice.

Geet slowly opened her dizzy eyes, her eyesight was blur, she could see  the figure of someone, she knew who is that someone, small smile tug her dried lips, knowing finally her wait is over, as her Bodyguard come for her rescue today.
